Energy efficiency testing of consumer electronics & office equipment

As energy costs increase, consumers tend to purchase more energy efficient devices. Improving energy efficiency and environmental compatibility should already be considered during the design stage of a product. Therefore, the EU directive 2009/125/EC - Ecodesidn of energy related products - has been introduced. It is implemented by regulations which define, among other parameters, energy consumption during usage and stand-by mode.
