Ever increasing energy costs, growing environmental awareness and an improved legal framework are presently leading to a great demand for efficient systems for heat and power generation.
SLG disposes of extensive possibilities for testing heat generating equipment of building services. Our test facilities are designed for carrying out tests for electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and noise emission under a simultaneous and constant heat output with a power of up to 40 kilowatts.
For operating the appliances a gas connection with a flow pressure of up to
50 mbar, an adjustable electricity supply with a current carrying capacity of up
to 3 x 63 A as well as a pressure-resistant flue gas evacuation are available. Furthermore, it is possible to operate test samples with solid fuel.
For equipment which cannot be operated in our laboratories, tests can be performed as before at the installation or production site.
