Environment simulation - Vibration and shock tests
Technical goods are subject to a typical life cycle starting with production and ending with their disposal after a certain period of use which also includes impacts from transport and storage. During each of those life cycle parts, the product is exposed to more or less intensive mechanical and dynamic loads that can adversely affect its function, reliability and safety. Vibration and shock tests should verify that the product to be tested can withstand the environment's vibration conditions that can be expected during transport, storage and especially intended use.
In addition to our present vibration test equipment, we now have a vibration test unit with sliding table and climate test chamber at our disposal. It allows tests for mechanical strength and functionality in all three spatial axes in installation positions and simultaneous climate overlay.
Our services:
realisation of all kinds of mechanical and dynamic device tests (vibration and shock tests) |
| |
vibrations (stimulation by means of fixed frequency, swept sine including resonance search, sine via noise or frequency-caused broadband noise) |
shocks (stimulation by means of all classic shock types, such as sawtooth, triangle, half sine and trapezium, shock response spectrum analysis/synthesis and transient test) |
tests and ranges of tolerance comply with recent standards (electric and electronic components, cars, rail vehicles, aerospace, mechanical engineering, medical products) |
mechanical tests under defined climatic conditions (temperature from -70°C until +180°C, humidity between 10% and 95%, relative humidity between +10°C and +95°C)
temperature gradient 15K/min
realisation of the tests dropping free, dropping tipped and falling over |
