| Test Criteria | Das Prüfzeichen „SLG-Geräuschqualität“ (Soundlabel) wurde zur Beurteilung von Geräuschen bei Haushaltsgeräten entwickelt. Grundlage der siebenstufigen Skala A - G ist eine metrische Skala der Geräuschqualität. Als Merkmalsausprägung wird dabei der Sound Quality Index (SQI) verwendet. Der SQI wird mit einer für jeden Gerätetyp angepassten mathematischen Beziehung aus objektiv gemessenen psychoakustischen Parametern bestimmt und überspannt den Wertebereich von Null (ungenügende Geräuschqualität) bis Zehn (überragende Geräuschqualität). Die Abstufung der einzelnen Klassen orientiert sich hierbei an einem Schulnotensystem. |
